DOWN HOME MEAT LOAF
2 pounds fresh ground turkey 1 cup finely crushed saltine cracker crumbs (about 24 crackers) 2 eggs 1 (8 ounces) can tomato sauce 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon dried basil 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In large bowl, combine all ingredients until well blended in 13x9-inch baking pan, shape turkey mixture into oval loaf.
Bake uncovered 1 hour or until meat thermometer inserted in center registers 165 degrees F. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
*For darker crust, when meat loaf is done baking, place under broiler until crust is as dark us you would like It.
